A Space to Explore, Heal, and Grow

Therapy is a space where you can step away from the pressures of everyday life and focus on you. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, past trauma, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, creative arts psychotherapy provides a supportive and non-judgmental space to explore your emotions.

I offer a client-led approach, meaning that our sessions can involve talking, creative techniques, or a combination of both—whatever feels right for you.

If you're unsure whether therapy is for you, an initial consultation is a great place to start.

What is Creative Arts Psychotherapy?

Creative Arts Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that blends talking therapy with creative techniques such as storytelling, roleplay, movement, and visual art. It offers a way to express emotions that may be difficult to put into words.

There is no requirement to act or perform—this is about exploring feelings in a safe and supportive space. Some people prefer creative techniques, while others find that talking alone is enough. Therapy is tailored to your needs.

Who I Help & Key Client Groups

Dramatherapy for Young People (14+)

Dramatherapy for Young People (14+)

Adolescence can be a time of intense change, self-doubt, and emotional struggles. Young people may feel misunderstood, overwhelmed by anxiety, or unsure of how to express what they’re going through.

Drama therapy provides a safe space to explore emotions through creative methods, helping young people build confidence, express themselves, and process difficult experiences. Sessions can include storytelling, roleplay, and movement, but can also be purely talk-based if preferred.

Miscarriage Stillbirth & Neonatal Loss

The loss of a baby is devastating, and grief doesn’t follow a timeline. The world may move on, but you are left navigating a deep and complex loss that can feel impossible to put into words.

I specialise in supporting parents and the extended family from siblings to grandparents who have experienced stillbirth or neonatal loss, providing a space to process grief in a way that feels right for you. Whether through talking or creative expression, therapy can help you honour your experience and find ways to carry your loss with you.

Therapy for Actors & Performers

The acting world can be exhilarating yet emotionally demanding. Rejection, self-doubt, and career uncertainty can take a toll on mental well-being. The pressure to always be "on" or "good enough" can lead to burnout and anxiety.

With a background in acting, I understand the emotional highs and lows of the creative industry. Therapy offers a space to explore self-doubt, rejection, performance anxiety, and creative blocks, helping you stay grounded in a career that is often unpredictable.

Autism & Neurodivergence

For neurodivergent individuals, be it autism or ADHD, the world can often feel overwhelming. Many face sensory overload, social anxiety, or a feeling of being misunderstood.

I have over 10 years’ experience working with autistic and non-verbal children and adults, offering a therapy space that is neurodivergent-affirming. Therapy can help with:

  • Emotional regulation and self-expression
  • Managing anxiety and sensory overwhelm
  • Building confidence and self-acceptance
  • Exploring identity in a safe and non-judgemental environment

I provide therapeutic support for parents of autistic children, helping them navigate challenges, process emotions, and find strategies that work for their family. If the person finds it too challenging to leave their home, we can discuss having the sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, if that is more suitable.

Your First Step – The Initial Consultation

The first step in your therapy journey is a free 20 minute consultation available on the phone. This session gives us a chance to explore what you need from therapy, answer any questions, and see if we’re the right fit to work together. There’s no obligation to continue—this is simply a gentle starting point to help you decide.
